Cookies Unit:
The Cookies Problem was about learning how to use constraints and graph them. The constraints of this problem were Icing, Plain, Time, Dough, and Space. The first problem we had to do was find the constraint of each of these cookies problems. Then we put them all together and and found the feasible region of all of them on the same graph that we started is project. The rest of the portfolio is about trying different equations and graphing different problems. The cookie project didn't do much to help this, but what I learned from it, helped with other worksheets and small projects we did on the side. I realized that if I focused really hard on what I was working on then I would succeed. That made me feel so much better. Overall, I felt that this project helped improve my understanding of math. I felt better and proud of myself because I could do any math problem if I put my mind on it. I felt encouraged with the finish project, this was a great project and good experience.
I have figured out that you would have to make 75 plain cookies and 50 iced cookies and then your money amount would be $212.5 dollars. You will use 110 pounds of cookie dough and you will use a whole 15 hours making them and 20 pounds of Icing. The way I found all these answer was by getting all your constraints and finding the Feasible Region. Then I use profit lines to find out your maximum profit line.
